MJ (pictured with
assistant, Prudence) attended the Dalton School of Dog Grooming in
Shrewsbury, MA, and was taught by a well-known judge of dog shows -
including the prestigious Westminster show. She fully understands
the proper theory and practice of dog grooming.
She has also attended a number of professional
continuing education classes, shows and events. MJ has been
grooming dogs for over a decade, and has been a member of New
England Pet Grooming Professionals, Inc. since 2000. MJ also
maintains a barber's license - an additional profession for more
than 20 years.
Her grooming experience includes thousands
of dogs, from Chihuahuas to Irish Wolfhounds, encompassing most
breeds and mixes between. She loves the challenge of creative
grooming, such as classic poodle styling and fine shaping, but is
just as content with shorter haired bathers.

MJ's Assistants...
 If
you have met MJ, you may also know her assistants, Prudence, Cirque,
and Hazel.
Prudy used to love helping around the shop (with Jeffrey), and these days
she guards the van against wrongful
 intruders by barking incessantly at
stop lights and gas stations at anything that moves - when she gets
to ride somewhere in it.
Cirque and Hazel also ride shotgun occasionally, and love to
stop at Dunkin Donuts for a treat between stops.
