"Greetings, Adventurers! I'm Penny, your guide for this virtual tour through K-9 Coif's grooming process! Come on in!"
It all starts when the K-9 Coif van pulls up to your house. I'll just pull in a bit further, as the van will need to use our house's electric outlet.
This is Max. He's consulting with MJ, the groomer, about changing out his winter coat. So many styles to choose from... what shall it be?
"I think I would like the standard Maltese cut for spring. But don't try putting any of those little butterfly clips in my fur! That's for GIRLS!"
After a good coat brushing to release loose dirt, mats and other things that don't belong there, we head for the tub. There's lots of warm water!
MJ's telling Jake a story while the cream rinse does its job. "Lassie", my favorite!
Out of the tub, most excess water is blown out of the fur with a warm air force dryer. It dries to dampness.
From the warm comfort of the drying box, Blue enjoys watching Jake get his nails clipped and ears cleaned.
The dryer box circulates warm air to finish the drying process. Niles suggested we add magazines to the interior.
Finished with his haircut, Frasier dons bandanna and cap and prepares to exit the van.
A final ruff primping, and Jake is ready to head out.
Max is pleased he received a new bandanna instead of a butterfly barrette.
Jake and Blue pause for a picture with the van before heading back into their house.
"I love my new haircut," says Ramsey. "If anyone tries to take my bandanna, I'm hiding under the bed! See you next time!"
